Bernard Brussel-Smith

American, (1914–1989)


Bernard Brussel-Smith was born in Manhattan, New York in 1914. He attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New School for Social Research. Brussel-Smith taught art classes at the Brooklyn Museum, Cooper Union, City College and the National Academy. His artwork has been exhibited at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Brier Hill Gallery, and the Childs Gallery. He died in New York in 1989.
